Hello all,

My uncle wants to find a way to play his DS with wifi through his Wii. Are there anyways to use your Wii to set up a signal for your DS? I was just curious if this was possible that way he wouldn't have to screw around with WEP etc etc. I really just want to hear about the Wii.. if there's a way feel free to shout it.
I'm confused. The Wii has built in WiFi, as does the DS, so if the Wii can get a signal, so can the DS, no?

Unless the Wii is hooked up using the USB to RJ-45 connector, in which case you would need the Wii to act as a router for the DS. Of course, for all of this trouble, you could pick up a cheap 802.11b router ($20 at the most).
If you are trying to access WiFi features for DS games through a Wii that's like going to a salesman trying to sell you a car salesman. If you are running off a WiFi enabled router the best bet is to input the WEP key into the DS connection settings. This middle man you speak of is a step in the wrong direction. Unless we're talking using a DS as controller...which is still in development.
