Yeah, they won't include Meta-Ridley as a playable character. He'd be like Giga Bowser. They'd use regular Purple Ridley.

I know, and SHFFL'ing is too important to advanced Smash for the game to be stuck on that control set up.

But even if Sakurai doesn't care about advanced Smash he'll keep it on GCN controls, because its how Smash is played best.
