I was wondering if its even possibly for an original XB memory to be transferred to the 360?
I have tons of music CD albums on the XB v.1 and I'd hate to lose all that work and time I spent buying and uploading them to not be able to use them any more.
nope.
why would you want to clutter up your HDD with music when you can just stream it off your comp to the 360?
because for some reason, my wireless networking isnt working. and on top of that, I can't find a ethernet cable long enough to reach my modem in the living room to the 360 in my room! =[
I really just want a few tracks back, most of my CD's are destroyed. =[
I need a zune.

Uh, I definitely saw one of those devices around that takes data from a memory unit and transfers it.
YOU SHALL TELL ME!!!!
Where can I find such unit?
umm, is your 360 bolted down in your room? if so i could see how that can be an issue.

You read my mind. I know the 360 is pretty good sized, but I'm sure you could pull it to the room your modem is in with a wagon or something... Seriously, It's probably a better deal to buy a wireless router then pay the money for a very long ethernet cable...you'll use the router much more and possibly with other devices.
I have a router [like who really doesnt?] but its on/off... which means it sucks until I get a new one that has a stronger range and frequency.
but I could really stream my Limewire music files from m PC to my 360 wirelessly?
lol. people still use limewire?
if your files are mp3 or wma, then yes you can.
*shakes fist*
YES!!!!
Well for the most part.
Find Tveristy and run the server.. drag and drop your mp3 files and your done. Make sure you choose not to transcode your files(Unless you have a avi video file you want to convert to 360 format like xvid or divx).
