my wiimotes didn't work the other day the blue lights just kept flashing.

I posted a thread saying
"Today i turned on my wii and everytime i when on push a button to turn on the wii motes they just flash the blue lights. Before today my wiimotes worked perfectly fine. I've tried putting new batteries in them. And i've tried syncronizing them. and i've turned off my system and turned it back on. And none of these have worked! HELP. I don't know what to do now."

I decided to try to surf the internet to solve my problems and i found this thread.

it basicly said that he called the nintendo wii people and they said to hold you wiimote upside down and spank your wiimote. lmao!

it sounds so retarded but the funny thing is. IT WORKED. and my wii is fixed. after i spanked my wiimote, my wiimote was able to syncronize.

I've heard about that. The only possible thing I can think of that that would have any effect on are the accelerometers, but I don't think those would stop it from syncing up... weird

hahaha the exact same problem I had, My wiimote wouldnt turn on, I got pissed off so I hit it. Worked like a charm

I would never hit my Wiimote, but my Wiimote hasen't failed me since I got my Wii!

That's a weird find...

Hmmm, sounds kinky, especially with that silicon/latex glove you may or may not have on it. Sometimes hitting works but in the end I'd try to get a replacement. I haven't had any problems with my Wiimotes so far *knocks on wood.
