Am i the only one that is tired of the Sonic the hedgehog series? Good Lord how many ^%%&* times and platforms can this game be released. Someone if you are close to sega or whoever produces this now pls let them kill this off like the Mortal combat series

It is getting old. But I guess they still have the fanbase and money to do it.
Seriously, if they're still producing games then that means people are still buying, and if people are buying then why stop? I'm waiting for a "New Sonic the Hedgehog"
I cant wait until LMX see's this thread RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE!
Im not tired of them because I dont play them.
If i could id bring back working designs.....the best RPG company evr IMO
I just dont feel sonic has improved just reformatted but one mans meat is another mans poison
Sonic suxx0rz!11!
He hasn't been good since the ol' days. Recently he's sucked and they've tagged all these other crumby characters on.
But so long as they can make money off of it then they shall continue to produce second-rate Sonic games.
"New Sonic the Hedgehog" ftw?
I think if they do a classic rendition of "Sonic the Hedgehog" with better graphics, (like the did Super Mario Bros.) then I'd buy it. Other than that, all of this other 3D crap with the cars and rocket launchers while running away from killer whales can go to the abyss.
I had 3-D racing sonic and Sonic 3-D Adventure or something on my Old computer, well I got the discs thinking they were good.
I recently tried one of his GBA adventures.
BOOOOOOOOOOORING lol.
i'm afraid sonic was a great game that just hasn't been adapted well to 3d environments. it's supposed to be a fast paced game, and in 3d realms that usually means that the camera system never works well. perhaps w/ sonic and the secret rings that will not be an issue as he is supposed to be on a track and not free roaming. that may sound a little limiting, but it's probably the most likely way to fix the camera issues they've had since he went 3d.
Shadow is a good game though..... and what about knuckles everyone knows he is better then sonic and could pwn him any day
If you're talking only about Sonic then I May be with you but sequels in general then I'm not for it. Without sequels there would be no new Mario game, Smash Bros game, Zelda game, etc... Games I think have gone to the sequel extreme would be the Tony Hawk series. I like 3 and 4 the most but after that it's just more of the same. Haven't tried the new Wii one and it does sound a little different but otherwise...
