Mine froze once in the Mii channel, when I entered it, the screen wasen't black.

what the actual mii channel froze

mine has never frozen but it does go really really slow when updating

nither has mine but when i do recieve lots of miis it goes slow

mine froze once. it was in stanby mode, i ejected the disc, and put another one in. i then tried to turn it on, and it would not turn on. i tried on both the wiimote and the wii itself. finally, i pressed and held the power button and the light went from ornage to red, then the console powered on as usual.

I keep thinking bad things are going to happen to my Wii, but nothing yet.

IDK if this has has happened to anyone. But, once while playing Madden (big game, trust me), I was stiff arming this mofo, and then this horrible buzz filled the speakers of the TV, and it just froze. I wasn't really high-pitched, just really loud and whiny. It really freaked me out. It's kind of like that beep that PCs make when you get the blue screen of death, but this was a maintained sound. When I say "kind of like", I mean the equivalent of the blue scree on death sound. W/E, I'm totally rambling.

Same here, but I bought a 3 year warranty from Target which is where I got it and it was only 29 dollars so if something happen's in the next three years I'm covered..... warranties ftw! -SamusRulez

My Wii froze on me while I was playing Clone Wars. xD

at least im not the only one having trouble. i was very concerned, but it seems like a minor thing (at least i really hope its nothing big). the only thing is that not everyone has the exact same problem.

anyway my wii worked fine yesterday and today. so im not so worried anymore.

sometimes if your remote disconnects from leaving a channel to the wii menu or whatever the wii will freeze but all you have to do (it works for me) is to press any button and the remote reconnects and everything works well

I've been having issues where the web browser will lock it up solid, requiring the power button to be held in till it shuts off

Oddly, this never happened for the first week or so, but all of a suuden, it occurs quite frequently... accessing the same pages. It doesn't seem to be heat related.

Mine has frozen twice, as well. Both of them on the internet channel.

Mine froze up once after I shut it off because the wiimote disconnected and I couldn't get it to connect again (I hadn't found the button on the front of the Wii yet or it probably would have been fine). When it came back up it froze when I clicked on whatever channel (don't remember which, might have been a game). Then it did it one other time at Christmas for no apparent reason. The first one I chalked up to being shut down improperly, but the second one bothers me. Other than those couple of times though it's worked flawlessly for about a month now.

Mine froze loading WiiSports once. Worked like a champ ever since.

Mines never frozen...I guess I's got good luck!

Maybe I was just a little impatient.
