I just read about this through a website called ORB. IGN also has a link about it on their website. Basically, ORB has it set up to be functional with the Wii Opera browser. So far, I've been able to get my itunes music, BBC news, some internet radio, photo sharing, and much more to work using this feature. It is very cool as it is, but with a few tweaks this could prove to be absolutely outstanding. (NOTE: I've found that not all Internet TV channels work, and some of the youtube stuff doesn't, same with internet radio, but for the most part things work very well as this just started). The links are below for all those interested...

I looked for it...but didn't see it. Sorry for repeating it. Surprised it wasn't its own thread considering lots of applications are usable on it...I was hoping people could exchange ideas about channels that work, how to get things set up, etc. I figured it warranted its own thread...
i tried this but i was not able to play any music. i dont know what i did wrong...

Everything will be much easier when the official browser is released in March. Until then you can get by using Orb, Red Kawai or other similiar programs.
Man i would love to get my itunes to work on my wii, need a different score when i bowl maybe it will help me beat my wife to some great tunes
but you still cant play games while yer music is playing can you?...you still have to back out of browser to play a game..
As for right now, I have been able to get itunes music to play. The video is another story, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. In the Orb forum the administrator assured that more patches and updates were on the way this week to help with audio and video functionality. One needs to make sure that the music they want to play on ORB is in their My Music folder on their PC. But as drew102e posted, you still cannot play music while playing a game because you have to back out of the browser. Hopefully this will be addressed during a firmware update.
Actually, I am going to use this for my mobile.
Yeah, I think that's what it was originally made for in the first place or PDAs, I'm not sure. Been out a while but is getting more attention with the Wii capabilities now. I've noticed this trend that people are starting to jump on the Wii bandwagon and make their products compatible with it to draw in more people. Good for Nintendo to get extra support.
