I am deciding whether to get Wario: Smooth Moves or not.
it looks alright but wouldn't it get old playing the same minigames over and over?
Or is it really good and worth buying?
I have no idea.
I'll try it out when it comes out in a couple of days down under. Not sure about buying though.
I would only buy it if I had a brother or sister to play with me but since I dont, I will not it will be major boring by yourself AKA Buy If you have friend coming over everyday or a lot of family.
IMO.
I preordered it because I loved the one on the GC and I am so anxious to play it...I have a bro to play it with...the more the merrier
Like cloud i am an only child but i am going to get it anyway.
hmmmmmm... i have 2 sisters and a bro so maybe ill just hire it when it comes out to see if its good
After watching a few videos from IGN, I think this game is going to be a riot.
When's it out? I got a preorder in my stocking....
in the US it comes out Jan. 15th

The Wario Ware games from Nintendo's camp haven't exactly been known for their longevity, but rather offering quick, party-style fun through a series of mini-games that range from typical to incredibly offbeat. Smooth Moves, the forthcoming edition for the Nintendo Wii, looks to be just as crazy as the previous games, and offers the kind of control scheme that could make it even crazier, as you have to hold the Wii-mote a number of different ways to accomplish the actions in each game. Moves looks to be just the boost this series needs to bring it into the next-gen. As Wario might say, "Excellent!"

Yes, the multi-player is supposed to add a lot of value to game (playing darts passes the time nicely enough, but flinging the controller between people as you complete many micro-games in a row grew old in the GC version…), but recalling the situation found with the GameCube edition, getting three friends that want to look like complete idiots seems difficult and the one-player side alone does not justify the £39.99 price tag. Sure, there are nice options like being able to watch video sequences repeatedly, beat your highest scores on the micro games (which really do go crazily fast the longer you play!) or take part in extended mini-games (including a gun shooting one, block balancing puzzle game and a Breakout-style affair that uses a ping-pong paddle controlled completely by the Wii-mote to bounce the ball through barriers), but still this probably would have been much more appealing at a lower price-point.

A few sweet mini games have been thrown in to extend its life span, like a fiendishly addictive block-catching game that sees you tilting the Remote to control a platform as you catch falling bricks without dropping them, or a bat and ball game in which you keep a ball in the air for as long as you can as you work your way up an obstruction-filled corridor. But even those won’t last more than a couple of days at the most.
But WarioWare has never been about lasting dozens of hours in single-player - not unless you’re the type of gamer to play mini games over and over again to beat your own high scores. Yet that doesn’t detract from the fact that this game, while it lasts, is crazy genius and, as we’ve already said, will be the one you come back to when you’ve got a full house.
I've played the demo and trust me it's good, I'm getting it first day
5 more days people! I can't wait but I'll probably have to wait at least an extra day or two before it arrives here. I'm getting it first day it arrives.
