WAAAAAH! Nintendo stocks shot up, but now their steadily falling? Have there been any new waves of Wiis recently? Maybe there will be more soon? I'm snatching at straws here! Someone, reassure me!!!
Stocks couldn't stay up forever.
how fast are they dropping? did they split the stock? that causes value to drop drastically, while also increasing the number of available stock--basically, if they go 2-for-1, if you have one share valued at $10, that one share becomes two, but each share is only worth $5
it happens on occasion, and is done primarily so that stocks are more affordable for small time investors, and so that their price stays in the same range of competitors.
I don't know if this actually happened, but it's possible...
