I didn't believe it at first, but its true. Sony's Sixaxis controller, an almost certain copy of the Wii Remote, has won an emmy and the Wiimote has not.

actually the award isn't for the six-axis controller at all, it's for the dual shock analog controller.

This is total crap. (Yes, I read the clear-up).
Dual shock = stolen from Nintendo's Rumble Pak.
Analog stick = stolen from N64's controller
Shoulder buttons = Nintendo's L & R buttons
Motion sensors = Wii Remote's functionality.

Sony did state they got it for SIXAXIS... hilarious considering they got it for Dual Shock.
For the record, I love Dual Shock, its great. And to think it was in the same league as Nintendo's D-Pad is quite the accomplishment.
