Okay, so yes... Transformers: G1 was cool...
But who else loved this installment of the Transformers franchise? I know I did. It was well done and for the three seasons it existed for it was great.
I will go on the record saying it featured my favourite Megatron incarnation ever.
What are your thoughts?

Hahahahaha. My friend torrented the whole thing pretty recently. I loved that the only girl for the most part had an incredibly not sexy voice. Poor chillens, not getting proper fan service.
actually, i enjoyed the series too, for a good part. the cheesey humor i could do without. i loved the links to G1 though. finding the arc. realizing they're on primative Earth. only thing i didn't like was that they scanned fossils for beast forms. actually, i didn't like the whole using animals for their alt forms at all. it was cool and all, but it just didn't make sense. why didn't they keep their vehicle forms, or create new vehicles. car of any sort > a rat.
the series got way cool when those few Transformers got all shiney and had a 3rd form. a cheetah with rockets just kicks ass
and Optimus Primal with Prime's spark is one of the coolest Transformers around. and yes, the 3 headed dragon Megatron kicks ass too
have you seen the series that follows? looks pretty good, Megatron still kicks ass, but the story and everything is a mockery of Transformers
Optimal Optimus rocked, but my God he got shamed in that battle aboard the Nemesis... he couldn't stand up to Megatron with G1 Megatron's spark.

Dinobot was amazing as well.
I preferred some of their animal forms to cars.
ie. Velociraptor, T-Rex, Dragon > cars.
And nah I haven't, they never showed Beast Machines over here... at least not to my knowledge.
you're better without. it ruined the whole series. if you wanna know the story lemme know. the start is just "we crashed. where are we? escape from Megatron!" when they try to make a story out of it, it goes downhill severely. i can "ruin" it for ya, or spare you the pain of watching it. i consider it the 2nd
Well I did see one short clip where Megatron seemed to be stuck in some sort of hybrid between Beast mode and Vehicle mode.
i think he has 3 different forms. the animal is still 3 headed dragon, the human/robot looks like a motocross helmet on top of a cloak with huge shoulder pads and arms, and i think there's a vehicle mode which is a jet, or maybe it was a spaceship/UFO lookin' thing. i don't remember. i've blocked it from my memory for the most part

In Beast wars he had his Dragon head for Beast Mode and then Megatron head for Robot Mode
i'm almost positive he has more than one head in animal/dragon form. i thought he had 2 in Beast Wars too. have you watched the whole series? i may have just spoiled something. slap me if i did. i'll take it, just, please don't laugh if i cry. i'm fragile
Well I have seen it all up to Nemesis Part 2 (Last episode of Season 3) which features the Maximals leaving the planet claiming they won the Beast Wars after destroying the Predacons and taking Megatron with them back to Cybertron *I think he goes with them anyway*
And he only had one Dragon head and one Megatron head.
Its even like that on my awesome action figure.
