Well Starfox64 is coming to the VC, but that's only because Nintendo owns the rights to Starfox. Donkey Kong 64 could also happen for the same reason. But Banjo-Kazooie and Conker's BFD are all owned by Rare and have almost no chance of coming to the VC

Rare didn't make Starfox.... they only made Starfox Adventures and screwed it up royally.

one thing i'm not certain on is whether MS owns everything Rare does/did now. if they do, you'll never see any Rare game on the VC based off a non-Nintendo franchise. if Rare still owns the rights to their old games, they may sell them to Nintendo for the VC to make up their losses since being sold to MS. stupid politics. why can't we play a game cause it's good and not worry about all the BS?

I can truly say that I havn't played either one. I'll get the 64 version once it's released on the VC.
And I've just remembered something. Is it just me or was Andross just kind of thrown into Adventures at the last second. He played no part in it until the boss fight.
I liked the original Starfox too. I remember my Dad was crazy about it!

not what i was saying at all. Nintendo's not selling the rights to anything. if Rare owns the rights to THEIR games, they may allow Nintendo to sell them on the VC so Rare can make some money they've lost recently. if Microsoft owns everything Rare makes/has made that does NOT feature a Nintendo franchise, then games like Perfect Dark and Goldeneye will never be on the VC unless Nintendo buys them back, which is highly unlikely
All we have to go by is that Reggie is interested in getting Goldeneye on the VC.

I know it doesn't prove much, but Reggie will do all he can to get Goldeneye. If he fails then so be it, but at least he's trying.
i'm rooting for Perfect Dark more. i still say PD is the best FPS i've ever played. a gun for every taste and a way to counter every gun. how many games let you control a camera mounted rocket? or feature a machine gun that turns into a self sustained turret? or a gun that can be thrown down and becomes a proxy mine? genious!
The main advantage I found with Perfect Dark were bots.
Thats really what Goldeneye lacked.
that's what every FPS lacks. a game where you can play multiplayer by yourself? how can you get any better? sure it's not quite as good as having 8 real people playing, but having 2 players playing with 8 bots is friggin' amazing.
makes me wish Perfect Dark Zero was released for the Wii. and it was good.
