Full Version: Demand for Wiis in Australia Exceeds Supplies

After 3 weeks on the Australian market Nintendo of Australia has announced that more than 50,000 Wii consoles were sold in the country, quickly becoming the "must have" item. The demand for the console has quickly surpassed available supplies although new shipments are constantly arriving.

Nowhere, Nintendo is enjoying a VERY big win right now. Hope they can keep the top notch software coming to keep those systems off shelves and hard to get for some time to come.
I think they're still on the shelves in Siberia.

Considering both the N64 and GCN were largely ignored by most Australians, this is BIG news.
