IGN's page of Wii release dates has come to include some Virtual Console games at a general January 2007 and the NES is getting a lot of love this month (Ignore the ones that say 2006. Must just be a typo). Nothing's come from Nintendo but they seem to be pretty sure of themselves. In this list we have:

That's a nice list but I want the more N64 games. I'm excited about Soul Calibur IV
& Mortal Kombat Next-Gen(not Armageddon) IGN has listed coming out this year.

How cool will it be if they switch the controls for Punch-Out to work with the Wii-mote like Boxing on Wii Sports?
I think Super Metroid might get released on the VC closer to the release of Corruption to get people hooked on the Metroid gameplay.

That would be so cool, maybe give DK64 with DK Kongo Blast or SSB with SSBB. The possibilities are endless

But Nintendo knows that those are the sort of titles that they will make money off. So I don't see it happening.
