i like the giant crabs, but i totally don't get it. did i miss the giant crabs thread?

and i encourage everyone, especially our friendly neighborhood designers, to come up with an idea. again though, make sure the clothes are promoting the site, and unless z6 knows a way to get real images on there, you may wanna stick with basic color schemes. i really wanna get the best designs we can for this.

I really really can't think of anything else except for what I did like 2 weeks ago. o.o

umm i have been looking at these shirts and wondered would you people actually where these at school or around your friends. Just asking cuz people in my school would get made fun of.

we all made fun of the name Wii at some point. i'd proudly sport my WiiLoaded gear to classes. besides, if anyone makes fun of one of our members, i'm sure there are dozens of us to go medieval on 'em. i'm sure LMX would. those Aussies are a mean lot. just look at Russel Crowe.

Lol @ Sony's E306 conference, to think I watched it on Gamespot after I finished watching the live Nintendo one. Go to YouTube and look up "Wii60" I think its called... not entirely sure.

there are still a couple days left for submissions. i'll come into school early wednesday to go through all the concepts and pick out the finalized products. there's still time to make your ideas come true people!!

I would def pay for either of these i donno about the font on the t-shirt but i like it.

I really like some of the designs.

From now on, any design that you'd really like to make it to production needs to be accompanied by a large unscaled image that you are placing on the front/back. In fact, you can submit only the images if you would prefer, and list the suggested uses (t-shirt, mousepad, etc). A single design can be used on several different items.

In fact, I'll try to have at least a few items in production and ready for SALE by this weekend. A really good design as stated above would expedite this process, as I'm going to have to take the images given and recreate them before adding them back to a t-shirt or other item. As some of you can attest, I'm not the most gifted graphical designer.

BTW, if anyone would like an official role as an apparel designer (even if it's only temporary), let me know and we'll consider you. Qualifications would be to not only come up with original designs and submit specifications for production, but to also recreate member submissions and perfect them (align, resize, clean up, etc) before they are ready for production. Before someone asks, yes, the work would be voluntary unless this project becomes profitable in the future, as at the present time I'm only looking to provide these items for members without losing a small fortune

As for the legality of using these images, I cannot see how using a font would fall under that. However, actual images of the Wii might. If anyone can come up with some nice traced type images of the Wii, remote, and such, that would be nice. Also, somewhat unrelated, if anyone wants to make an "icon" for WiiLoaded, that would be an interesting project. Thus far, the simple WiiLoaded banner is our "logo" (as opposed to WiiLoaded in an alternate font), much like Coca Cola in their standard font is the logo for Coke. However, we need an icon of sorts, much like the old style curvy glass soda bottle invokes immediate thoughts of Coca Cola. This will require some real talent and work, otherwise we'd already have one, so don't take it lightly Nike's checkmark seems so easy and simple, but I promise a lot of thought and work went into it, and it's been a huge success.

actually, the Nike "swoosh" took about 5 minutes to create and sold for about 50¢. but anywho...

i don't mind reviewing items for final consideration by the head-honcho, but since he's doing it all himself i guess i'm out of a job
