I thought it proper to pull from a forum post from Penny-Arcade about some journalist in Texas who called the Wii a "Sex Machine". To me, this is beyond ludicrous. Local News sucks, but this tops the cake.

I'm sure most of you have heard about this, but a Dallas news station and website are reporting that the Wii is a "Sex Machine", basically dragging it through the mud on their news program and website. The article and video can be found here:

(along with a link to the authors own e-mail)
This is Shelly Slater, the "Journalist" who exposed Nintendo.

If anyone here wants to send an email, there is a "contact us" link at the bottom of their pages. Digg.com has a post about it, so I'm sure there are already a bunch of people sending emails to the station. I already have, but just thought I would pass it along. Im sick of videogames being blamed for everything, and to blame the Wii is just stupid.
"After watching and reading your report about how the Nintendo Wii is a "sex machine", I honestly feel sorry for how out of touch your news program is. To label the hottest selling sytem of the holidays, which is the first entertainment system to actually be enjoyed as much by grandparents as teenagers is completely rediculous. Yes, it has internet access which could lean to pornography, IF SOMEONE WERE TO NAVIGATE TO IT. It is their choice. Even besides that, there are parental controls which would filter out any adult content in the first place. Why not run a story about how COMPUTERS can access pornography, or even cell phones for that matter. All your program did was sensationalize a story which should never have been written or aired. Very unprofessional, laughable, and overall disgusting to see the lengths to which a program will go for viewers. For shame."
Just my 2 cents.
Also, here are some links to the competing news agencies, who I am sure would love to hear about this terrible journalism by one of their competitors.
