You may be wondering why I filed this under rumor if it's coming from a Nintendo employee. It's because the source can only say that the info was leaked by "an unknown Nintendo employee".
According to this phantom Nintendo worker Super Mario Galaxy has been pushed back to Christmas 2007. This would be disapointing but it's understandable that Nintendo would want a big title released at Christmas. However to soften that blow the Nintendo employee says that Metroid Prime 3: Corruption will release in the second quarter sometime between April and June and that it will be the first Wi-Fi enabled Wii game.
Now this is where things get interesting. The employee also said that Midway is hard at work at making Mortal Kombat Armageddon online ready.
We heard of this a couple days ago (as a rumor) but the statement about Corruption being "the first Wi-Fi enabled game for Wii" contradicts what we heard before about Armageddon being the first Wi-Fi Wii game since the game was rumored to be released March 15th.
Does this mean that the rumored Armageddon release date is false or that the Nintendo employee didn't do his homework. Or for that matter, is there even a Nintendo employee releasing this info. It's enough to make your head spin so I'll let you guys draw your own conclusions about this.

or they release the same day and they're both right
from what we've seen SSBB is about as far into production as MP3, so does that mean SSBB will be coming out in Q2 as well?
WIFI could mean that Corruption might be the first Wii game to connect to the DS

It'ss pretty fishy because the bigwigs at Nintendo have said Galaxy will come out within six months of launch.
Also a little fishy since Midway is making Mortal Kombat not Acclaim
I don't care, just give Metroid Prime 3 Corruption.
Also a little fishy since Midway is making Mortal Kombat not Acclaim
Oh yeah. I knew it didn't seem right when the source said Accalim.
Considering Pokemon Battle Revolution was the first Wi-Fi enabled Wii game...
It was the first game in Japan to be online but I also thought it was supposed to be the first game for U.S. as well but now everythings up in the air.
Weird, well when this becomes official news I guess i'll oay sme attention to it...
a few days ago, ebgames.com had 3/1 as the shipping date for Armageddon, but I checked today and now they have it listed as 5/1
The dates at online retailers are never right. Just wait for official announcements from the companies.
even those aren't always true, I got WarioWare a day earlier than I expected. (16th, not 17th)
