Honestly, my favorite part about the Wii is the virtual console. I am one of those people that believes the best games were invented in the SNES/Genesis era and before. So, of course, I am looking forward to downloading Genesis, N64, NES, and SNES games on the Wii. Personally, a "blast from the past" will be more exciting than any of the new games. Plus I lost a bunch of my old games.
That's a cool idea, but i don't pay hundreds of dollors to rebuy games i have or ones i can get at a garage sale for .25 cents. the virtual counsel is cool, but the Wii is a kick butt system without it.

Actually, it's the only thing Nintendo is hoping that will sell the console to knowledged gamers. Aside from the whole "I get to swing my sword with the nunchuku!" thing.

i cant wait to download games from N64 and backwards... i can buy games for gamecube and some for N64 but there aren't any games for NES or SNES on shelves though strangly i can buy a dreamcast and games for it.

I COULD NEVER BEAT MAJORA'S MASK!! i would beat the first boss then i couldnt figure out what to do it pissed me off!! but i lost it now so im gonna get it on wii! and look up a walkthrough

in Emulators there's netplay options to play old console games online with other people
I often play Smash Bros. online with a n64 emulator, Mario Party with it, and MANY super nintendo games online with it, and yeah~ it's mad fun
