I don't know if anyone has noticed or not, but on the nexgenwars.com Wii ticker, it has reached over 4 million consoles!

I think, especially here, everyone knows that, but it is pretty awesome.

I do not how reliable that counter is.

i think that may be a worldwide 'shipped units' counter

but its still a good indicator in my mind

considering how quickly they sell out, "shipped units" and the actual number of units sold is likely VERY close to the same

VG Charts says 3.81 mil.

I normally check VG Charts but recently something happened to make me wonder. Kindrik if you remember I updated your post about how many Wiis had been sold according to VG Charts when it hit the 4 million mark. Then a couple days later that mark disappeared and went back down. Either someone hacked them that time or they made a mistake. Still, not sure who to believe but I can tell you for sure that neither is exact. Wii is selling great though and I think we should all rejoice for that FACT!

The counters go down from time to time because they get corrected by real figures, Most of the time they run on autopilot so they are technically just semi-accurate estimators

Lol well we know that the wii has sold a lot. So rejoice about that little tidbit!

lol, you gotta watch Bleach. He is the most annoying guy on there in my opinion. He always smiles all the time and for some reason that makes him so annoying to me.

I watch Bleach, but I don't think I've gotten to him yet. I'm only on Episode 19.

I'd like to think that my wii purchase this weekend pushed it over the top. LOL Congrats Nintendo for making a great product.

Heh. Well, at least I know that the X360 has only sold a little over 8 million, and nowhere near 10 million consoles. Geez, nexgenwars.com doesn't really have it right at all.

Wow, if the Wii and the 360 came out at the same time, the Wii would be in first place lol.

IGN has just posted an article saying the Wii has passed the 4 Million mark. They do however expect another 10-12 million out before the end of the year. And that number I dont think includes the invasion of the black one.
