Codename Revolution has just released a heck of a lot of info that is contained in the March issue of Nintendo Power magazine. So let's get right to it.

DS Player: It seems unlikely that there will be a DS Player released on Wii such as the GBA Player was to the GameCube. Nintendo Power had this to say: “We actually had little experience playing the DS on a TV screen, and to be honest, it’s not that fun…dual screen doesn’t fit too well onto the TV…no microphone on the Wii Remote…nothing can replace the pinpoint accuracy of the stylus.”

Fire Emblem: The name of the next FE game for Wii, Fire Emblem: The Goddess of Dawn will only be the game's Japanese name. The US and PAL name(s) is/are still up in the air. The game is also a direct sequel to Path of Radiance (GC). It will feature a different cast (except Sothe). New obstacles include “mutlilevel battlefields”. No release date is set and how the game will use the Wiimote is unknown.

Warner Bros. Meets Smash Bros.: Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck will team up against a bald evil scientist in worlds from Camelot, ancient Egypt to even the trenches of WW2. Not sure what Smash Bros. has to do with this.

Super Paper Mario: NP says the game will be released in April. The Wii remote will be held sideways (like in Excite Truck) with the D-Pad for movement and 2 for jumping. You will use the A button to switch between a 2D and 3D perspective. Some puzzles cannot be solved without going back and forth between the two. The game has also been improved graphically since E3.

Sonic and the Secret Rings: An advertisement in the mag has a release date of Febuary 2007, while NP has it down for March. Sonic will be the only playable character. NP says it would be misleading to think it’s a game on rails as it serves some platforming as you can jump with the 2 button, physically moving Wiimote to launch him at enemies, and pressing 1 allows you to slow down.
There's a lot more info on this game, if interessted then follow the source below.

Mario Party 8: 14 characters and 70 all-new minigames. That's the important stuff. It goes into larger detail on many of the individual minigames. Me thinks this will be somewhat like Wario Ware with different positions and uses of the remote.

What is this "Warner Bros. Meets Smash Bros." crap?
I had no idea an FF game was coming to the Wii. YES!

If I knew, I would've explained. When I first saw the title I was expecting a SSB-esque Looney Toons fighting game.

It's only the Crystal Chrinicles spin off but still good new if you're a rabid FF fan.

Oh yeah, I know it's different, but I've been waiting for news on Square doing VC (Sounds like a no ;/). This makes me happy.
Looking forward to SPM and Mario Party. Fire Emblem sounds cool too. Now I wish we did have NP here.

Yea, FF:CC was fun but there are certain things they good greatly improve.

ugh i hated the new style of Final Fantasy on the Nintendo.. It seems like a game just to rent ): i hated how the NGC version needed GBA controllers 2..
It didn't need them, only if you wanted to play multiplayer.
i hope Loonietoons arnt actually going to be in the same as SSB characters THATZ CRAPZ
Yeah, I also hated the need for GBA controllers for MP on FF too. Also the problem of having two characters with their levels too far apart made it so my friends couldn't jump in and play the same as me.

It will be called "Looney Tunes: Acme Arsenal"

Thought so, because of copyrights and all.
If Warner brothers are in Brawl, that would mean Batman? no. But who the hell wants daffy?
Batman isn't with Warner is he?
