Anyway, the sole reason I support GTA for Wii is so Nintendo gets more money. More money = good for them.

I highly doubt that will happen it would take until atleast 2008 because its a franchise to microsoft and ps2 "Nintendo hasnt ever had any gta games" Which would mean it will take awhile to get the gta franchise. Hey its just my word and what im thinking

I think they finally realized if they dont suppose all types of genre's they will not succeed. The reason the gamecube fell behind is the lack of support, same as n64. The nintendo consoles are awesome for their nintend launch games for the first year or two, but then lack of support kills them.
This can only help them! It covers all the bases of kids, general gamer, non gamers, adult related content, etc, etc. Just have to see if the graphics not being equivelant of the ps3/360 will make a difference in the long run...I find Wii games more fun and dont mind the graphics not being like the others...
If they do bring them to the Wii, I hope like hell they improve the shooting controls using the aimer. Man I hat using the standard controls with aiming/shooting.
Yes, the games are pretty terrible. And each one gets older faster. I've maybe played 10 hours of GTA:SA before shutting it off.

I'm not sure that this is a really great idea. I think it would be great to have a *new* GTA game on Wii, but since just about everyone in the world has already played these GTA games, it will end up selling poorly (see: Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes) and Rockstar will decide that the Wii doesn't have an audience to support their games.
By the way, isn't that article like 6 months old already?

SPECULATION As somesaid earlier Rockstar has made a few other titles and i havent seen a GTA on the nintendo yet

SPOnG has heard a bizarre rumour of late that Rockstar may be looking to bring the next iteration of the Grand Theft Auto series – presumably entitled GTA 5 – to Nintendo’s family friendly Wii console.
SPOnG put it to a Rockstar rep the other day that we’d heard GTA 5 might be Wii-bound and they responded with what we can only describe as a stifled giggle. Read into that what you will.

GTA5 on Wii? I dunno, I think the best the Wii can get in terms of GTA is a remake of an older GTA or a spin off title.
Wow we hardly know anything about GTA4...Maybe its a little early to speculating about number 5?
Uhh, sorry to burst your bubble but there was no confirmation from Rockstar. I firmly believe that the Wii would be hard to handle a PS2-ported GTA game right now. Rockstar would need to develop an exclusive Wii-version for this kind of stuff to work.
