LOL! I go to the technology section, and the first article is about the delayed ps3 european release!

Mine did not take any 20 minutes...that's nuts. It took about 8 min to update the system, and once you get into it, it took about 2 minute to retrieve the info..which is long because of doing it the first time.

NOTE: one article in the technology section is titled:Nintendo's wii to provide AP news.

in the article, it states that the news channel is scheduled to release saturday. go figure.

I had the same results as GF. It took me 8 minutes 21 seconds for the download (stopwatched it just for fun) and about 2 minutes to retrieve the latest news.

Also you can click on the cat like in the picture channel when it starts to get a hint on how to do stuff on it.

This is great. I love the weather channel, I check it quick in the morning to see if I need my galoshes and rain coat. The news channel will be great too.

if you click on the cat a second time, it says there is another cat in the picture channel. has anyone tried this out?

After you click the cat he appears in the downloading content part, click on him while he's in that and it makes a weird sort of meowing sound. xD

I think he is refering to the cat that is found in the photo channel which is in fact there. When you open up the fun menu in the photo channel you will see him at the top. You can use A + B to catch him and he'll tell you a secret. Don't worry if you miss him because he'll come back after about 5 seconds and each time he'll tell you something randomly about the photo channel.
