Well the source says apparently the site wouldn't have them in stock til later this year.

But I'm still doubtful towards this.

I didn't give this much credibility when I first saw it. Nintendo will tell us when we'll be getting new Wii colors.

I think it's just a marketing ploy to get people to prepay/reserve it in advance and then they'll tell the customer that it will be shipped to them as soon as they get it. At least that's what I have to think unless Nintendo makes an annoucement otherwise stating that different color Wiis are on the way.
