NGamer Magazine Has made an Issue mentioning the Following:
"Scarface: The World Is Yours is winging its way to Wii…Shooting – a key part in most missions – is mapped on to the remote pointer, with players able to direct the aiming reticule around the screen, leaving a trail of Miami dead in its path. Moving your hand to direct Tony’s gun while your body remains still captures Montana’s steadfast mentality perfectly, that stubborn determination to stand his ground – an anchor with an AK."

“Tony standing in his office doorway, legs wide open, determinedly bolted to the floor with his “little friend” the M16 held firmly in his hands. On the Wii, players will be able to adopt this pose, spraying bullets as one with Montana – gaming and filmic iconography merged into one.”

“If Resident Evil 4’s bag-wearing chainsaw jugglers got your gore-loving synapses firing, wait until you rev Scarface’s flesh munching baby into action. Chainsaw waving is directed with the remote, lopping heads clean off with a high swipe, or using more choppy motions to re-enact everyone’s favourite Monty Python and the Holy Grail Black Knight arm-putation moment. To add a cherry to the viscera flavoured cake, the remote speaker will even growl like a saw so as not to bring you out of the moment.”
This is good news, for me and all Scarface fans out there. The other consoled versions were good and with a good control scheme this one could be just as good, or even better. Shooting will be done with the Wii-mote pointer system, so it will be easier to aim for that special head shot, or even the coveted crotch shot.

For anyone who claimed the Wii would only have kiddie games, you have been proven wrong once again since Scarface and The Godfather are teaming up to change Nintendo's image.
Cloud's second article. Huzzah.
yay, I finnaly have the hang of doing it ..sorta.
Ya, it's nice to see some more games like this. Plus I don't care if it's a port it's still fun.
Godfather > Scarface
Yeah, I'll probably get Godfather first, but I may still get Scarface. Atleast I want to...but there's just so many games and so little cash. Sad *sigh*
NO DO NOT GET GODFATHER FIRST.

I rented both games and only liked scarface, the Godfather game sucks for the PS2. IMO. The Scarface game is MUCH better than the Godfather.
Hmm, ok, I just love the Godfather movies. :XD:

Plus i'll probably end up renting the games first just to see how they feel on the wii.
I'll be renting them both first anyway. There's no guarantee the games will be worth the money they'll be asking for with *just* new controls. Especially since they are last gen games.
Well Scarface is being made on the 360 too...

Plus I remember the guy who was making Scarface was asked why they weren't making one for the Wii. I remember he said something about Nintendo having to kiddy of an image. Way to eat your own words! HAHAHAHA! I truly got a laugh out of that. Big Grin
I'm with Lemon on this, I'll try them both first before I decide on getting which one or getting both or neither.
I would recommend Scarface, it is very fun, and has a lot of sidequests.
If I could buy either game Scarface or Godfather on the Wii, I think I'd stick with Godfather...
I played em' both on the PS2, And I couldn't stand Godfather, I would go with Scarface,it has story..well I just plain out love tho whole deal with whatever your trying to do you have to do that Meter thingy.
anyone who likes the GTA series will love Godfather, because it's very much like that set in the Godfather/Gangster world.
the one thing I liked about godfather was extorting or something people, but it wasn't that well done I found, and the missions were kinda annoying.
I played it through and beat the game...technically beat it although you can keep going, and found the gang/mob warfare quite fun. I think the Wii version will have much more variety in it. Plus I didn't find it tedious at all, even though I do feel that way about some of the GTA series.
So is this kinda like GTA?
Godfather which is coming out soon is like GTA (only much more fun in my opinion)

I agree. My friends told me it was pretty fun, so I played it with them and it was fun! Plus it has extra features in the wii version so it sounds pretty good!
