I got my nintendo wifi usb thing today but every time I test the connection it said this error thing.I have tried it with my DS and Wii but still error.

I have never used the USB thing and can't really help. I thought you just plugged it in, installed the drivers, and then had your system detect it.
Try support.nintendo.com to see if they have some info on your errors.

make sure you grant the Wii/DS access to it, make sure the internet is connected, make sure your computer is on, make sure that you don't have any firewalls or virus protection programs actively going against it.
uuhm...if those are all ok, and its still causing a problem, then ill try to see what else it could be.

Which USB adapter did you buy? i assume Buffalo's since you said "nintendos usb".
Other than the obvious, you mite wanna try a newer version of the
registration tool (software that came with it) DL Here!
I use buffalos usb wifi adapter for both my Wii and DS. You can not have any Software firewall running. Unless you can succesfully give the lan connection it makes (normaly with a ip of 198.168.1.1) full UPD/TCP access. and really the only way to do that is to turn your firewall off. I tried for ever to get it to work with Norton finally gave up. Now im on a wired Dlink router (built in firewall) and it works fine. I just granted my Wii access to connect in the registration software (runs in your taskbar) and leave it in my usb port 24/7 works fine. We will see how bad the speeds are when online games hit the wii though. never lags my DS but thats alot smaller packets being sent.
