Ok now i know there are plenty of classic games you could play for hours and hours again. but omg how many of you downloaded VC games cause you loved them as a kid and be like crap just wasted 5-8 bucks! well i have, Id have to say i remember Ristar, and toejam n earl to be alot more fun than they are lol. im starting to think i should play an emulation b4 i get the game for my wii.
the n64 are surely more fun to me, but some of those classics like link to the past and super mario dont get old to me i play them once and a while still over and over on my vc
I kinda felt that way after playing Super Mario. I was pretty hyped that such a legendary game was avaliable, but it had no changes to the original game whatsoever. Let down.
Same feeling with games like Ecco and Street Fighter. They were fun to re-play for about an hour and now they just sit on my second menu screen.
Ah well, until Nintendo starts giving us some decent games in the store, what are you going to do?
It's just like games today, some have replay value, others don't. It all depends on what was done with them back in the day.
Zelda, Mario, Castlevania III, Contra, Mega Mans, Punch Out!!, Solomon's Key, etc. all have a lot of replay value for me because nothing ever came that could 100% emulate thefeeling of playing these titles (despite sequels). Games like Blades of Steel, or Chip & Dales Rescue Rangers have little replay value because other games have come along and done them better or you grow out of them.
i remember i found an NES game at a flea market i used to love. when i got it back and played it, it was seriously friggin hard and not very fun. i don't even remember the name now. something like Xyzxx. i don't think there was even a vowel in the name.
Mario Kart 64 is download right now. I played Ristar recently and it was pretty fun IMO.

Gunstar Heroes is the most friggin' worth it game out there. Me and my friend played Co-Op for HOURS! Out of the Ten Wii games I have we played Gunstar Heroes the most (not saying the Wii games are bed they rule!) It's just THAT much fun! It's AMAZING!

Well thats my point its "payfor" emulation im saying i wanna go test the games i dont know about or remember being badass, b4 i go impulse buy VC games hehe.
I cant wait for Beyond Oasis though I loved that game so much. only game that probably made my friends with snes's jelous.

I've got that feeling with MK64. I remember it being awesome in my childhood but it's not as entertaining now. Super Mario 64 however is still just as great.
