I'll see what I can do. I sadly do not own a copy of Star Fox 64 (or Lylat Wars as its called over here) but I do remember the names, as for descriptions I'll see what I can pull off.
Okay, I got lazy:
C o r n e r i a
This first level you will play, and also one of the best. Corneria is a land much like Earth, with oceans and cities, but very much a Star Fox environment, with large doors that like to close on you and hide goodies, as well as large rectangular buildings. After you sweep the city, there is an option to choose another path (through the waterfall), which takes you to a boss fight over the water, with a boss that remind me of the original Star Fox's first boss. The other route takes you over some more water, with arched pieces of land that you can fly under, and then to the level's boss. This boss fight, unlike the other, takes place in all-range mode and features a four-legged monstrosity as your foe. Take out is legs and then him and you'll be rewarded with a Mission Complete and move on to Meteo Field. The other boss gives you Mission Accomplished, and you can take him out by shooting his glowing gun-areas. You'll head to Sector Y afterwards.
M e t e o F i e l d
Every shooter has a asteroid field of some sort. Welcome to Star Fox's version, which isn't bad and combines debris and large meteors together in one level for a tantalizing twist. In Meteo, you'll have a chance to blow up boulders, and, if' you're quick enough, warp to another area to rack up serious points. Doing this requires you to hit all seven warp rings, which are blue with seven triangles pointing inward. The warp will take you to Katina. If you choose to decline this option, or miss a ring, you'll continue on through the field, shooting down wasp-like critters and more meteors until you reach the boss. aim for his yellow triangle, but try not to hit his shield, or he'll shoot green laser back at you. He'll then flip over and you'll need to take out two more spots, while avoiding rippling laser fire. Do this, and get ready for Fortuna.
K a t i n a
This is my second-favorite level, simply because it's so chaotic. There's not to much to see here, unless you're looking for the gorgeous graphics of a pyramid and giant ship. Anyways, you'll enter Katina to find a massive invasion going on, with a huge mother ship positioned above a pyramid in the center of the level (a la Independence Day). You'll be with Bill and the bull dog unit on this one, and you're going to need to take out that big ship, but first focus on the smaller ones, until Bill let's you know it's time. When it is, you have to fly under the ship and destroy the four lowered hatches (don't destroy the forth yet if you're going for the medal). Then take out the cone and you're done! Solar is up next!
F o r t u n a
One of the best levels in the game is Fortuna, where you go head to head with the evil Star Wolf team. It's an icy tundra of places, even tough it's rather close to the sun. And strange devices litter the landscape. Take out as many of the little drones as you can before the Wolf team arrives, explore the area, and get ready. When they get there, start on them ASAP. Nova bombs don't work, and you can't lock on, so just fire away with your lasers, and do a 360 if they get behind you. Keep at it, and beat them before time's up to move on Solar, or if you can't get them all (one of your teammates does) then Sector X is coming up.
S e c t o r Y
Sector Y is a a fun level in which starships, or former starships, float with their debris, as well as lots of enemies. The suckers attack in groups, so be ready to rack up the points. Midway through the level, after ROB 64 calls in, you'll come to a point with lots 'em, including turrets. The best way to take care or this is to drop a nice Nova bomb down into the thick of the little buggers and say "Goodbye". Shortly after this, it'll be time to fight the boss. There's actually three, but only one is a real challenge. First, take out the two mechs on your buddies, then go after the big guy. He moves around erratically, and has a strong gun, so keep him off your wingmen and stick to your lasers. If you have over 100 hits and your wingmen are alive, you'll be going to Aquas, otherwise, prepare for Katina.
S e c t o r X
Much like the other Sectors, Sector X is more of the same floating debris that we've seen before. Except this time there's a ton of bad guys to blast in the beginning. Make sure you have plenty of Nova bombs! After the level's checkpoint, you'll face a large piece of scrap that will force you to head left or right. If you have the hyper lasers and are going for the medal, I recommend going left, and trying for the warp. To do so, you'll have to open up 4 gray panels and make them turn red to activate the warp, which leads you to Sector Z. Otherwise, go right and continue with the level. The boss for this level is pretty awesome, though it only has a head and arms. To beat it, fire away at the eyes, and roll away from his arm attacks. Slippy will chime in saying you've won, but then he comes back for more. Just keep shooting at his head and rolling away from his attacks and you'll be headed to Macbeth in no time. However, if you take too long with him, Slippy will try to help and end up getting wacked to Titania, and you don't want to go there.
S o l a r
Solar is, for lack of a better word, orange. Very orange. And it's also very hot. Fortunately (or not), your Arwing can withstand the heat, so off to the lava with you. This mission is no fun, you face large spouts of lava that shoot across your path, giant waves of molten rock, and "fire birds" that attack you. And if you get past all this, there's a boss to fight. He's a nice guy, after you shoot off his arms and blast his face a few times. Just don't get him mad, he tosses rocks and lava at you when he is. If you can take the heat, then it's time for some fun on Macbeth.
T i t a n i a
The worst level in the history of levels is Titania. Honestly, if Slippy fell here, just reset the game and try it again. Even though you get to use the Landmaster, it's not really worth it. This world might as well be called "Solar 2: Solid Ground" since it's desert terrain has that orange hue to it. Still, if you plan to play through this level, just take out as many enemies as you can, blow up the land mines or avoid them, watch for rock throwing monsters, and listen for Slippy's feminine voice. For the boss, immediately free the toad from its grasp so he can analyze the enemy. Take out the limbs one by one, and keep your fingers on Z and R for when the boss strikes. After the limbs are gone, take aim at the beast's heart to bring him down. He will get his head in the way, so watch out. When that's done, your troubles are over, and it's time to visit Bolse Defense Station.

I don't care for Aquas too much, even though it's the only level where you use the Blue Marine. It's got great looking environments, and the sub has unlimited torpedoes, but the whole underwater thing and lack of viewing distance just turned me off. But for those of you that like it, I suggest holding down the brake the whole time and shooting at almost everything so you can get that medal. And roll, roll, roll away from any enemy fire. Be mindful of the three enemies that shoot electricity between themselves especially. The boss of Aquas is a sponge-type beast that requires lots of firepower. Take out it's three tubes, then aim for the "tonsils" in its mouth. They'll become colorful, which means you've stunned them, and then fire a Nova bomb or keep blasting to knock them out. After all this tiresome work, the core of the beast opens up, and you have to shoot at it until the eyeball opens up, and then quickly send a bomb its way. Four more hits later, and you've beat Aquas! Now get ready for the polluted wastelands of Zoness.
Z o n e s s
I don't really care for Zoness as much as I should. To me it's like Solar, but with green, polluted water and industrial buildings, instead of magma and birds of fire. It is good looking, however, and has one tough boss. You'll find lots of boats as well as some Corneria like doors. Anyways, the goal on this level is to fly low and take out the searchlights before you're spotted. Miss one, and you'll be off to Macbeth, no matter what. There's plenty to shoot at in this level, and as you near the end, walls with rudders appear and will raise or lower if you shoot the rudder, revealing goodies. Just keep destroying everything -with the help of Katt, who is a friend of Falco's - and soon you'll face the boss. This guy has an arsenal of destructive power. Stock up on bombs by blowing his water mines up, then go after the cones near the top of him. When it goes underwater, destroy the periscope with bombs. Then go after the side parts until they fall into the water. Mr. Handyman will then use his crane to try and fish them out, so send some Nova bombs the cranes way to help him out. Restock your Nova bomb supply if you need to, take out his other side, then fire lasers at his core, while rolling away from his return fire to take him out for good. If you did this and got all the search lights, get ready for Sector Z.
S e c t o r Z
It was no small feat, but I have in fact finally played Sector Z. So, with my newfound knowledge and the strategies of the folks at VideoGameSpot and their guide (see Links) I give to you the layout of this mission: It seems that 6 missiles are headed towards the Great Fox and you have to blow them up. Before you get underway, you can fly into the rear of Great Fox for some repairs. Then the alarm sounds and one by one, 3 missiles will come at you. Get to them from the side and blow them up without getting to close. If you came from Zoness, Katt will be here to help out (which will keep you from getting the medal). At the end, three missiles will come at once and you'll need to lock on and fire a Nova bomb it you want to win. Success results in a trip to Area 6 (Venom's hard route), but if a missile hits its target, its off to Bolse Defense Station with you.

This is in my opinion the greatest mission ever. It's just so cool!!! Using the Landmaster, you must catch up to the front of the train and send it off course, or fight its boss. And you get assistance from your crew in the sky. Make your way along, blowing up parts of the train, and shooting down pesky drones above you, while using the hover function to get over obstacles and to grab items. After the checkpoint, I suggest trying to send the train off course rather than fight it. To do so, you need to shoot every one of the eight numbered switch posts in order, which appear on both sides of the level. Do so, and the train explodes into a wall and your troubles are over. If you couldn't, then you'll have to fight him. Try not to get picked up by the satellite-esque enemy, and if you are, hover when you fall to reduce damage. Also, watch for the spears the train tosses out, and shoot them before you run into them. Finish with the kite, and the back of the train will open up. Shoot into it, then shoot the kite as it moves around erratically. Keep this up, and you'll be at Bolse Defense Station in no time!
B o l s e D e f e n s e S t a t i o n
Ahh, Bolse. Many a time have I been here. The lack of anything to look at really is something. You'll need to cut sight seeing short though and focus on taking out the towers that hold electrical beams so that the shield can be taken out. Do so, and a tower will rise from the center of the station, and you need to destroy all the yellow glowing areas on it. But, if you haven't faced Star Wolf yet, they'll be showing up to make your job harder. If you can handle them, and take out the shield, it's off to Venom!
A r e a 6
I could only say one thing about Area 6, I would tell you that there are hundreds of enemies to be found here, so you'll want to have Hyper Lasers. The goal here is to destroy as much as you can, and to use a Nova or two on the mine field. Up next you'll face large starships with heavy firepower. Aim for the control tower near their rear to take them out. Keep this up, and it'll be time for the boss of Area 6. To take it out, fire at the red circles on it, then shoot at the core. It will then retreat, fire missiles and swipe at you. Do this until the core turns red and moves out of the way! It fires a huge beam that will tear your ship up if you get in its path. Now just attack the now-vulnerable core and head off to the tough part of Venom.
V e n o m
Venom is huge, and has it's own mini-boss, not to mention two different parts. Because of this, the Venom section is three paragraphs. This one dealing with the route from Bolse, the second with the Area 6 path, and the third for the Andross battle. When you arrive on Venom, you'll notice it is swarming with enemies. Follow Falco if your going for the Medal (200 hits) and bomb away at the large clusters of bad guys, There's plenty of them. On this side of Venom, you'll fight a mini-boss. This guy fights you by running away, so just blast at him, but watch out for the walls and pillars that litter the hallway. After he's been reduced to nothing, it's time for the fight with Andross.

They seem like good enough level descriptions to me lol.
LAZINESS FTW!
