I live in the Tri State area in Michigan bordering Ohio and Indiana and they've already closed many of the schools for tomorrow. It's currently -2 degrees with a wind chill of -15
when i went to high school, they never closed it down for snow...id always get up in the morning just to watch the news in case we did, but it would be one of maybe 5 schools across Long Island that wouldn't close even if there was a foot of snow on the ground. they had to once, because the buses froze overnight. otherwise, i dont remember snow days...

It actually says under our school's rules that the only time the school can be closed for a snow day is if it's so cold that hell has actually frozen over.
Snow is so rare here that if any amount, however small, is even predicted, every single school will shut down.

Australia weather makes no sense to me. Yesterday it was 43 degrees celsius (109 degrees fahrenheit) and today its 17 degrees celsius (63 degrees fahrenheit)
