Joker, you live in Memphis? I have a lot of relatives that live in Newport.
We don't even have anything close to Winter in Thailand. Last Christmas I went swimming and got a sun burn. The last couple of days this week have been murderous and I felt like fainting so many times while I was outside. I love cold weather and HATE hot weather, oh well.

when I went home (NY) for Christmas break, there was sun and warmth...then I come back to St. Louis for school, and that very night we have ice storms. and now we have snow...
i think something's wrong with Mother Nature's sense of direction...
Yeah, grew up in Iowa where we are not strangers to cold/snow. Moved to MO and the cold/snow followed me down here. X-(
Yeah so? That's nothing. We had that kind of weather here back in late November (Winnipeg). Right now I can look out the window and see about 4 feet of snow. Oh, and that wind chill thing. The wind chill factor here is about -52 C (-61 F). It's insane I tell you. What ever happened to that global warming thing.
And I never knew that Memphis was a traditionally snow-less place.
Its only -10 I dont find it cold, but others do..

Iowa totally wins the coldness fight, the high temp tomarrow is -3 degrees.
The coldest here... 50 F the warmest [sicne I live in the valley] 78 F [California!]
Well for what its worth its freakin' boiling hot over here in Australia.
Its going to get to like 40 degrees celcius today.
Mephis = About an hour or so from where I live. We got about 1-2 inches of snow.

I have the same kind of weather as Joker at the moment...acctually we have like a blizzard going on outside right now...brrrr.
You lucky. I hate you. >.> lol jk. Theres still snow on the ground here but there needs to be more. This is the first accumaulating snow this year which is uncommon for my region.
We been had a mini-blizzard yesterday too. And it looks like the bitterly cold weather's gonna stick around for the weekend and beyond. Still getting those -50 C wind chill temps.
