Seeing that we're currently in
the Q1 drought it's refreshing to see a list such as this, eventhough we're not 100% sure of it's validity. The March issue of GamePro is rumored to have a wealth of information regarding new Wii titles in 2007. The problem is that no one has this issue in their hands yet to confirm it.

There are a few titles there that are bound to confuse at least a few of you. I've heard of 100 Bullets being in development before and it's apparantly based on some comic book I've never heard of. Matt Cassamassina had already confirmed Donkey Kong Bongo Blast and the next Kirby game. And under Kirby there's Legend of Dragon. Perhaps a mix up with Legend of Dragoon, and it's strange that there isn't a developer or publisher listed next to it. Mario Kart and Pilot Wings on Wii is something completely new and out of the blue. It did seem logical that Mario Kart would one day come to Wii but it's just strange that we havn't heard anything from Nintendo yet. Wii Shooting and Wii Motor Sports Airplane are also a couple oddities. I've never heard of Wii Shooting but it really does turn out to be an actual game I'm expecting something similar to Duck Hunt which would possibly make use of the zapper shell. The airplane game was supposed to be part of a larger compilation called Wii Motor Sports, similar to that of Wii Sports and Wii Play so I don't know why it's listed seperately like that. These two also don't have a publisher listed although it's pretty obvious to me that it would be Nintendo. I think there were a couple vague references to Animal Crossing by Nintendo but nothing to let anyone believe it would be released this year, or even the next. And we havn't got any info from Nibris just yet regarding Sadness, but August does seem reasonable to me.
Rumor: New Wii Titles revealed by Gamepro? - MAXCONSOLEThanks ManaburnX!
They sound like interesting titles. I'm just wondering how the dance factory game would work if it's a DDR esque game. Would you connect the dance mat to your wiimote and it would give you a warning not to step on the wii remote while playing?

I'm also pretty excited about mario kart (flinging items with a flick of the wiimote, perhaps?), space station tycoon (I've always liked the tycoon games), and animal crossing (One of the few games that actually attracted my mom as far as video games are concerned). The rest of the games look pretty promising as well. Thanks for the list!

Yay! I really hope they release a Mario Kart game, it would rule!

Wait...Wii shooting? Sweet, maybe they'll release that awesome zapper!
Where the heck is Wii Music?!
It's on there under JAWA for October.
Phew... *relief*
Though, October is a long way away.
Mario Kart!!! YEEEEEEESSSSSSSS!!!
Omg Legend of Dragoon!!! Animal Crossing!!! I hope this is right!!!
But where the heck is SSBB!?!?!?!?
I thought the new 'mario kart' was going to just be called Nintendo Kart
Hey, Wii Music is in there, too! I'd sure like be the conductor for once!
Not sure, Sakura, but I'm pretty they may have forgotten about it.
Maybe they are just listing games that people may or may not have known about.
Because not only is SSBB missing, but so is Metroid and Mario. So there's no need to panic.

Since when was that rumour around?
I haven't heard of a Nintendo Kart rumor.
I think it would be a little awkward putting Link in a tiny go-kart.
But I never knew about these games coming this year, whereas everyone knows the Galaxy, Corruption, and brawl were coming out this year. I think these were just some little snippets of whats to come this year.
Mario Kart?! Yayuh! This thread wins the internet.
Perhaps a mix up with Legend of Dragoon
Omg Legend of Dragoon!!!
Sony made Legend of Dragoon so... No.
Those are probably games that aren't well known or just released the info on them. Because cooruption, galaxy, paper mario, godfather, ssx, ext... aren't on it.

Perhaps a mix up with Legend of Dragoon

I think everyone is getting confused about the Legend of Dragon game. The one that's on that list talking about a fighting game based off a dumb cartoon.

Don't crush my hopes. >
Wii_Rules - Yea, I thought that to, but I want crush my hopes.
These titles are the ones that were not mentioned previously or that didn't have any kinda of date confirmation before. Sweet looking list + we all know what other great games are coming that are not on the list. Looking like a nice year.

Wow. I had heard there were some unnannounced wii games still to come out this year, which may or may not have been huge games...
but this is ridiculous!
If this is true, it means pretty much every one of the major nintendo franchises saw a new game within wii's first year...?!
That's unprecedented for them. Usually they're much more staggered.
Well, I hope they have time to nail MarioKart's gameplay and online goodness before its released. And i hope it's a lot like the DS Kart, including the retro cups.. cuz i still have stuff to do in that game!
I wont' be expecting Mario Kart til 2008.
I mean, its very unlikely we'll get Mario, Metroid, Smash and Mario Kart in one year. That's way too good to be true.
