. . . Or is it just me? The sims is one of my all time favorite PC games. And out of the all the PC games I play it gets the most use. And there's a new expansion coming out soon called The Sims 2: Seasons. Anyone buying it besides myself?
I have The Sims, and have played The Sims 2.
They are incredible fun games, no mistake about it.
i don't play games i have to continually pay to play, thus my lack of WoW gaming and why i don't play Sims anymore. i hate having to buy a new expansion every 3 months. bite me Wright. just make ONE good game to last people a long time

Yeah totally. I like the Sims franchise, though I don't play them so much. My wife is much more into Sims than I. I'll probably like Sims for Wii because it looks a lot like Animal Crossing or Harvest Moon style graphics, which is awesome. But again I probably won't play it *that* much. I'll play the hell out of Animal Crossing when it comes out for Wii though!
I really enjoy the Sims, but I think that comes from enjoying building the houses and such. I haven't had the chance to play any of the new Sims games out, but if they're as good as the old ones, I'm sure they'll be around for decades to come.

Will Wright isn't really involved with the Sims/2 anymore. And neither is the founding company Maxis. EA ate them up like breakfast. But Spore looks like it'll be really interesting.
As for the new Wii sims coming out, I'm really skeptical. It'll have to remain faithful to the original sims ideal, or it isn't really a sims game.
I play it but it can get boring after awhile. but its one of my fav.

I'll definitely be giving it a shot. But deep down I'll be waiting for the Sims 3 on PC.
I don't care that much for the Sims, I really don't feel like playing a game of life...were all you do is make people do stupid things like eat. I think i'll stick to Morrowind.
I love The Sims. Even though I haven't played it in a while, eventually I'm going to reinstall The Sims 2 and get some of those expansions
