What's up with groups? I can't create any and the only one I am offered to join is the Girls group, of which I'd love to join, but alas I am not a girl (last time I checked anyways). So are groups just for the elite or feminine?

the groups are based upon whether you are a mod/artist.etc. for the site. to become a Sage, you have to be active and friendly, and not a sore loser. the girls group is to get those of us that are female together, so we can take over the world (but nobody knows that) ^^
Whoa whoa whoa, active......friendly......not a sore loser. That's going to be tough. lol. I'd much rather join an all female group, but alas I believe my attempts would be in vain. So how does one get to the magical sage group? Just curious, X number of posts w/o being a tard?

sage requirements are pretty vague. most i've heard was what LZ said. polite, entertaining, spirit raising active member. the nominees are brought up to the staff who then votes on them

Occasionally we create a special group for only one member (I suppose then it's not really a "group", but whatever). If you ever become known for something humorous, you might find yourself with a special group just for you.
Outside of that, most of the groups are reserved for staff. Sages are VIPs, and girls get a special group so that LMX knowns who to hit on.
Its true, it makes it easier to do, so kudos to Joker and D4rk for making the girls a seperate group lol.

a long, long, time ago...in a thread in the New Members section...Ricky greeted me. after some time, he came clean about his little secret. since then, it has been such common knowledge to us, and it was assumed best if we warned everyone about his blue, glass balls. although nobody expects his titanium balls...those stay hidden from most people.

Nah, I wouldn't want to much attention, although, with that group name a wider amount of people would become aware that we have a graphics forum...
Then maybe we would get more people to design. Then we'd actually get a proper Graphics forum, with proper sub forums... I'm liking it >.>
