a quick question, is it going to have multiple game files? or is it just only going to have one?
and if it has multiple can you trade pokemon between them?

I'm not sure.

No Pokemon game yet has featured more than one game slot. So I would doubt D/P would start.

As for trading between them, that'd make getting alot of Pokemon a bit *too* easy.

Most Likely, but if you have any of the GBA games, then you can transfer you pokemon on those games to the DS using the GBA Slot.

im pretty sure that the japanese version does not. but who is to say that the american version won't feature this mind numbing attribute?

Well, considering Pokemon's history (the games), there probably won't be multiple save files because there never have been (like LMX said). Though, if there is to be such a thing there's even less chance of you being able to transfer pokemon between the two (or more) save files.

But seriously, they're still making the games because there are still billions of people that will buy and play them. Pokemon is actually one of the better kid-oriented games out there, so I'm glad they still make them. Most kid games are trash. Not only kids play the Pokemon games, though. I'm 28 and I still play 'em.
