Well it'd be very nice, as they said using the paintbrush with the Wiimote = heaven.
It would also own all those PS2 fanboys saying Okami > Twilight Princess (which it doesn't)
But with Clover closing who knows, I'll live in hope though.

It would give me a reason to buy Okami.
I've been holding off because I spend too much on 360 and Wii games as it is.

I've only been holding off because its not out over here just yet. But if it came out for the Wii I wouldn't need to worry about the PS2 version.

"Officially we have no plans for Okami on Wii at this time. Research and development are always looking at possibilities but given Clover is now closed for business, I think it highly unlikely a Wii version would be possible," an unnamed Capcom UK rep told IGN.
This kind of ruins the possiblity of it happening

um.... didn't the company responsible for making the game call it quits?

although critically acclaimed, i dont think Okami has sold very well, so i wonder if that means for liklihood of porting: better or worse

Okami IS better then TP imo. That's just me, but I feel like I've been playing TP since I bought my 64 and OoT with it. Okami is that same formula, but in a much more lovable and complete world. But w/e I'm not here to argue.
I think Okami would work really well on Wii. It's a shame it didn't sell better, because it's rare for me to say a game is better then Zelda.
