So, I know that on casual gamer, it takes 7 shots to the head to defeat the SOB. BUT...for some reason, I just can't seem to get those 7 shots landed before he rips me limb from limb.
Now, I've read that you need to run back and foth on the train from barricade to barricade to avoid him, all while bustin' caps in his dome. Yet, I still can't seem to finish the job.
If any of you have any other helpful hints, they would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. - for weapons I have the lancer and the sniper riffle. Does the lancer actually do anything for this purpose?
i played through the whole campaign splitscreen only. i used the torque bow to take him out though. also, dont bother shooting him when the kryll are flying around his body. wait until they disperse then shoot. if you were doing it in co-op, then someone would shoot a bow at his face and when the kryll spread apart, you'd shoot him with the long shot+active reload. if the person with the bow is quick enough(or good with active reloads), they can sneak in a shot too.

This guy is quite an SOB to beat. My best advice is to take a torque bow and sniper rifle into battle. Hit him with the torque bow to disperse the Kryll and then quickly equip your sniper rifle and go for the head shot. Also, make sure to stay in the light and grenades are very useful especially when he gets close as they will remove Kryll and also stun him. Happy Hunting!
I would just like to add my 2 cents about this.. The way i beat him was very simple.. I entered the scene, told dom to cease fire immidiately to keep him back. Shot the walls down on both sides case i had to post haste.. That will allow you to have some running room in some light if need be. Threw a grenade at the general which dispersed the krill. I used the regular chainsaw gun, and just blasted on his head using active reloads. The more i poured the whoopin on him, the less likely the krill would return to him for more than a second or two. Now another key is, DON"T WORRY ABOUT DOM.. Let him sit wounded, trust me he is less trouble that way. Once the general gets close, he hesitates coming around the wall you are behind so just blind-fire all over him, and you should have him low enough to kill him by now. I never even left the first wall..
