So my problem is simple. I want to hook my Wii up to the net. But I go to a University and on campus housing there is no wireless internet, nor are we able to have our own wireless routers.

So...A couple of months ago, I heard Nintendo was planning on releasing a USB to Ethernet adapter. So I could plug in.

Its the middle of Feb and I havent heard a thing. Anyone else having this problem?
Okay, first of all: Your campus sucks. My friend stays on campus at our Uni and everyone has wireless routers everywhere in their units.

Secondly: Australia has apparently got access to the Wii LAN adapter by calling Nintendo

So, I would think it shouldn't be too far away for the rest of the world.
Actually yeah. Theres a couple of things you can buy to get your wii online.

You can head to Best Buy and get a Datel WiFi Max. I actually saw one at my Target and Walmart.

You could head to Nintendo.com and click on store and find two there.
One plugs into your USB and sends out a WiFi Signal and the other plugs into your Wii and you just plug in your internet cord thing.

I saw both at Gamestop and I saw the USB one at Target.
Why don't you get a Wi-fi USB connector?

It just plugs into your PC's USB port, and serves as a wireless connection for your Wii to hook into.
The Nintendo branded WiFi Connector that uses the USB port is only for Windows. I have a Mac. I may have to go with the product seem here: http://store.nintendo.com/webapp/wcs/sto...oductCheck

Does it require any drivers? Will it work on a mac? Thanks all.
That adapter you posted goes into the Wii itself to allow a LAN connection. Therefore, it don't use your Mac or require drivers.
