I realize some will see this and ask why it's not in a game section, but patience my pet, I'm getting to that.
I had bust a move for the Dreamcast and really liked it. So I decided to check out some video for the game and towards the end it talks about 4 player, then 6 player, then 8 player all at the same time.
The game itself comes out in April, and I'm wonder if anyone thinks that this might be an online game or are they gonna do something wacky and let people use 4 gamecube controller coupled with 4 Wii-motes.
4 nunchucks. 4 Wiimotes. No online.
*Is a Bust-a-Move fan*
4 nunchucks + 4 Wiimotes = 8 players.
do you have a link to this info. i'm not trying to be difficult, but several game sites are thinking it will be online, but like yourself, I've heard people wondering if it will be done with Wii-motes and Nunchucks, which I think is retarded.
IGN: How do the different multiplayer modes work? We've seen our player shooting mode at CES; how does eight player work without eight Wii-motes for IR? Please elaborate. Is there any inclusion of traditional Bust-A-Move Vs. play in Bust-A-Move Bash, allowing multiplayer split-screen play for direct competition as well? Please go into detail on how this will work if included.
Mock: Multiplayer will no longer be split screen as it was in previous versions of the franchise; split screen isn't a viable option when you consider more than 4 players and Bust-A-Move Bash supports 8. Instead, all player launchers are lined up at the bottom of the screen, and when the game begins it's all out mayhem as players vie for the most points, power ups and jewels.
Even though the Wii has only 4 ports for controllers, players can compete in up to 8 player multiplayer by plugging a Nunchuk Controller into each of the 4 Wii Remotes. These Nunchuks then serve as extra stand alone controllers for 4 more people. Plug'em in and let the chaos ensue.

your right, I just read it on my yahoo answers, and I like the idea of using the classic controller as well.
I'm also a Bust A Move fan but not as big as my mom. She loves that game and used to play it on the PC all the time.
