It'll be between Little Miss Sunshine and Babel I believe.
The Departed would be my pick.
yep also good, but scorsese is probably gonna get best director (overdue) so it would be nice if sunshine wins picture
I'd give it to Departed from what I've seen. Been planning to watch Babel here shortly though, but I'm not expecting much.
bummer, oh well, departed deserved it
ive only heard semi-good things about Little Miss Sunshine, but havent seen it personally. my choice was also Departed.
Ya I had a big feeling that the Departed was gonna take it away.

if you like smart well constructed independent movies its great...
if you are more of a Norbitt fan then...not so much
Yah, I loved Little Miss Sunshine, one of those movies thats gets funnier with repeated viewings as well. It was my pick for best picture, not having seen departed yet, but plan to soon. Was disappointed Children Of Men didn't get anything...
I loved little Miss Sunshine myself also, but was very happy to see Pan's Labryinth get so many awards too

indeed. Pan's Labyrinth ftw! although I wanted it to win Best Foreign Film too T_T

How it didn't win is beyond me... not to take anything away from the film that won, but come on...
And sorry but Children Of Men should have won the cinematography over Pan's Labyrinth...
