*hopes for a Wii'd up MSN*
Don't get your hopes up, why would microsoft put their messenger on Wii.
If that happens it won't be microsoft's doing.
Yes they are coming out with a keyboard and mouse called lapboard in the summer
Source?
If its true, then BOOO, I hate AOL.
AIM ftw all my friends use it. Plus it has more users than MSN.

Exactly what I was thinking of.
i always get excited about hearing about new things we'll be able to do on the wii...but i'm not quite as excited about a messaging system...
i talk to people i want to on AIM, and so does most everyone else on this forum...because we have internet access and computers
i'll just use my wii for gaming and surfing the net and use my laptop for IM since i can multitask that way
Well, there is a Gamecube control keyboard.
What?!?!?!? :O

ZOMFG!!!!! :O
Thats is so f***ed up!
So using that as proof. They could make a Wii keyboard.
...I hope they don't screw up like that. Just make a normal keyboard.

No trust me the German wire lapboard is a wireless mouse an keyboard that has a really nice sliding design !

How do we know that it will be Wii compatable.
Phantasy Star Online used it.
Phantasy Star Online used it.
Was it really necessary for nintendo to create that keyboard for one game?
The big reason for a keyboard would mainly be to instant message other wiis so that you don't have to wait with the message board. It could be used for games on the side but headsets would work better for games.

I'm talking about the GC keyboard nintendo made, it dosen't make sense to have one only if one game used it.
You know the Japanese.
Besides, they might have planned to make more games use it. Had the Cube actually GONE online. But it didn't so that is probably why they only came out in Japan.
But it shows there's a chance we'll get a Wii keyboard.
I've never used the keyboard for GC but just curious how it connect to the GC? Did it connect to the controller port? If so then it might be possible for them to let us use the GC keyboard and send us an update to make it compatible. I'm not in the know how of this kind of stuff. Anyone know if it would be possible?
