AOL are planning on developing an Instant Messenging service for Wii - named ‘WiiAim’
The official site reads “When it is complete, WiiAim will allow you to use AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) to instant message people on your Wii using the new browser.”
This isn’t the first time AOL have developed a messenger service for a videogame
These are rumors that i have heard...and tend to pass on to everyone

I don't see there being a big need for this unless they release a Wiiboard (Wii-compatible keyboard).

I want MSN but I guess in the meantime we could use the eMessenger. I have not even tried to see if it works on Wii. Anyways, I'm sure we'll get some kind of program that will allow this eventually but without a keyboard I'd never be doing it. Hell, even with a keyboard I doubt I'd do it but who knows.
Yes they are coming out with a keyboard and mouse called lapboard in the summer
Well that's great news. Had to happen eventually. I bet this will sell quite well, especially since the Wii will have online games by then that may support chat such as Animal Crossing Wii.
a keyboard is essential for instant messaging but hopefully it will also be for msn

Im telling you, the Nintendo Wii is a new generation of gaming. This console caught my attention very well.

MSN = WiiAIM
Yea but its not msn its going to be AIM, but im pretty sure they will add yahoo and msn sooner or later. Nintendo is heading the right direction !
Ya they are heading in a good direction. But will really need a keyboard for MSN. It'll make it a lot easier.
