and the profit on new game sales is practically nothing. the only thing those stores make their real money from is buying the games from you cheap and selling them high. of course, buying used is cheaper than new, but the producing and developing companies don't get money from used sales. they get all their money from new
Actually the profit on new game sales is where gamestores get the most money. Profit on new game consoles aren't that high. But they make like 56% of the game cost while they only make like $7 on a console.
why would anyone sell their wii? that's an easy answer. according to sony...wii is an impulse buy. i guess sony was right in some degree. without the hype and the games...yeah these wii sellers are certainly making sony happy. on another note....i just saw the new resident evil 5 trailer for ps3. impressive.
ugh, frankly the Wii has tons of amzing games. The PS3 in all doesn't have pretty much any good games with the exception of Resistance, and for some Virtua Fighter 5. Franly I don't see lots of people in the near future trading there Wii's in.
Why would anybody want to trade in something so hard to find?

I tired to trade-in some games I had over I think 20 games and they were going to give me 50$. I said no and walked off.
Ya I just don't trade in games unless they have like a trade in 2 get one free sorta deal, but even then I don't usually trade games in.
