I finally connected my Xbox 360 to Xbox Live and everything seemed to be working fine...that is until I actually tried to play some games online. I first tried Rainbow 6 Vegas and after compiling a list of possible matches when I choose any one I get the message "This game is no longer available." I then tried Gears of War and even with Quick Start it tells me that there are no matches available. I went on to try Lost Planet and GRAW and had the same problem and I am beginning to get frustrated. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Help would be greatly appreciated.
im stumped. i've never encoutered this. i wanna say that you may have some of the necessary ports firewalled, but if that were the case, then you wouldnt even be able to access xbl. sorry.
Yeah this seems to have stumped a lot of people.
I would give MS a call and have them walk you through it. They should be able to fix whatever's wrong.
open ports 88 and 3074. also run a diagnostics test under the network tab on your 360 dashboard. Everything should check out fine there. Make sure your connection is open rather than moderate.
If your are a little tech savvy, check your router settings, turn off security for wireless and see if the same thing happens. You do want some sort of security on, but at least this way you'll know if the security future of your router is the issue (this does happen).

plug straight into your modem, if you still canit find games contact your ISP, they should be able to help from their end.
