Great news for PAL and NTSC Wii owners. Nintendo of America vice president George Harrison recently said that Nintendo was open to the idea of bringing foreign games to the NTSC's Virtual Console "if we can get them translated properly".

Now on top of that a Nintendo of UK spokesperson spoke to Eurogamer and said that "there is always the potential for games that haven't seen the light of day in Europe to be on the Virtual Console. The Virtual Console is the perfect platform for them." He was also asked if this could include third party titles that never saw the light of day in the UK such as Super Mario RPG and Chrono Trigger while both the US and UK could find titles only released in Japan such as the Fire Emblem series. "I can't speak for third parties" he said, "but if it's the right game then there's absolutely no reason why it should just be a first party game (that will make it to foreign Virtual Consoles."

Although this will make people living in the NTSC region a little happier this is great news for people in the PAL territories. Now I really don't want to get everyone's hopes up for nothing but I've got a good feeling that one day Nintendo's going to follow through with this.

All I want is Fire Emblem on PAL VC. If they give me that I will love them forever, and that INCLUDES Fire Emblem 6, even though it was a GBA game.

Fire Emblem is awesome -saw a preview I think for the new Wii version.

I was hoping not to see what venom looked like until i went to the movies!
oh well..

I think from the picture that Venom looks too .... thin or something. Maybe it's just the angle but he looks smaller than he should. Anyways, I don't think Venom will actually do anything in Spiderman 3. Spidey already has his hands full with the Sandman and Green Goblin Jr (that's what I like to call him :p ). Perhaps this scene will take place near the end of the movie and that might even be just seconds before the credits roll.

I sure hope he's at least like in the last half hour just so that he's in the next spider man.

Well, drivebyinsult, I'm going to presume thats a mid-transformation lunge. Remember Venom does look slightly more bulky and has some other coolish features. But apologies if I spoiled it... its just too damn awesome though.

It's alright. If I didn't want it to be spoiled, I'd have to abstain from using the internet at all until I saw the movie in the theatre. I'd have to abstain TV and human contact too... And I went to the NY ComicCon this weekend with my bro, and they had the action figures, so I saw him anyway. (He seems to remain somewhat thin, but bigger than Spidey)

Does look pretty damn cool. I almost wish Topher was playing Spidey tho, he could bring back the humor that's been lacking with Toby's Peter.
