Super mario 64. Many consider it to be one of the best video game acevments of all time. It still holds #5 spot on IGN, #1 spot on Next Gen. Magizen and Best game ever on Nintendo Power. But the all importent question is how dose the game stand on the VC? Dose it lag? Are the graphics as good as they were back in the day? How dose the Classic controler work for this? You'll see all this and more in the full reveiw of Super amrio 64!
Story
Super Mario 64 begins with a letter from Princess Peach inviting Mario to come to her castle for a cake she has baked for him. When he arrives, Mario learns that Bowser has invaded the castle and imprisoned the Princess using the power of the castle's stars. Many of the castle's paintings are portals to other realms, in which Bowser's minions keep watch over the stars. Mario must get the stars to rescue the princess. This is classic "Peach Kidnapping" story line and it never seemed better on the N64.
Graphics
Super maro 64 is really wat brought in 3D. It was the first 3D Mario Adventure and for this reson is why many consider this to be the best game ever. The graphics were a little hard to get used to but thats probly because i play rainbow 6! This was also the first free romeing mario were one can simple do enything, go enywere and basicly be free! The movemnet of mario looks great and responsive. The enyemys move and look good as well. Thankfully this game dosen't lag! Unlike some of the other games, this game is very smothe! Sometimes you'll even forget your playing it on the wii! Basicly, the graphics should win this game a 10 for the breakthrough into 3D and the free romeing...But sadly i can not do that...oh well

Gameplay
Mario has goten an upgrade and now can do backflips, wall jumps and spin attacks. This is a great addition because it gives even more of a free feeling. It frees you from just the jump move. Another good adittion are the caps. The Wing Cap allows Mario to fly, the Metal Cap makes him immune to most damage and allows him to withstand wind and walk underwater, and the Vanish Cap renders him partially immaterial and allows him to walk through some obstacles such as wire mesh. Among uther things, this is the first 3D mario so there is the first use of the anolog stick in a Mario. This, once again, makes the game feel free and not locked into a 2D side scroller. The classic controler works great for this and is really a nice add on to the game. All in all, the game is a breakthorugh in gameplay along with graphics. It set the bar for all 3D games and is really the best way to play a 3D adventure!
Music
There really isn't much to say here....Its the same great music from all the other mario games. Nothing new....Its all there...But who can complain? Its mario music for gods sake!!

Gameplay-9/10...Great solid 3D gameplay.
Music-8.5/10.....Same old mario music.
