Kirby's Adventure is one of the best and last games for the NES. By the end of the NES's life, the programmers had learned how to squeeze every drop of power out of the old Nintendo system. This is one of those games were they used all the NES's power. It was one of the best graphics for and 8 bit system and was all over a great game! But how is the game on the VC? Are the graphics as good and clean? Or dose kirby lag? You'll get the full scop in this review of Kirby's Adventure.

Story
After Kirby wakes up from his after lunch nap without having any dreams, he goes to the Fountain of Dreams to investigate. There, he discovers King Dedede, who toke the Star Rod, the source of the Fountain of Dreams's power, and broken it into seven pieces, giving six pieces to his friends and keeping one himself. Kirby decides to track down the pieces of the Star Rod and bring them back to the Fountain of Dreams, restoring everyone's dreams.
This is the first Kirby game and the first story line like this. Its cool! It gets boring when they do the same story over, and over and over again....But this was the star rod story line and its good!

Graphics
The big thing about this game is the graphics. Back in 1993, the programmers were pulling every trick they knew out of that old Nintendo trick hat. The graphics are amazing for an 8 bit system and still are today! There are very few games that were this great that were on a eight bit system. There are also very few lags that i could find and the game feels just like it did on the old NES! Fantastic graphics with a fantastic system!

Gameplay-
Kirby's Adventure is a side scroller just like all the others. Kirby's moves consist of swallowing....And thats about it. When he swallows something he gains the things ability. There are all the classic ability's like soward, slash, and wheel. There are also many more to name. Another cool thing about this game is the Mini games. The mini games are as follows
* Quick-Draw -This is like a Cowboy gunfight. The objective is to shoot the enemy before being shot, by pressing the A button after a randomly timed signal. Shooting before the signal results in a penalty, after three penalties the player is disqualified. There are a total of 5 stages, which increase in difficulty.
* Crane - Similar to the Toy Crane Machines, at arcades, the crane moves to the right, and when let go, the crane lowers at that point and potentially grabs either a small or large Kirby replica. The small toy is easier to pick up and earns one life, whereas the large toy is considerably more difficult, although worth two lives. The higher the difficulty, the quicker the crane moves.
* Egg Catcher - King Dedede throws eggs and bombs at Kirby. Timing is required to open Kirby's mouth at the right intervals, if a bomb is swallowed then the game ends immediately and the player receives no bonuses. At the end of a successful game, the eggs are tallied, and lives are awarded accordingly.
* Arena - Kirby fights one of the mini bosses scattered throughout the levels; after winning Kirby is given a Maximum Tomato and is able to gain their ability. Losing results in one life lost. Each arena is unique, starring a different mini boss and thus offering a different prize. One last thing that i want to mention is that this game has so many secrets that you'll be playing it into summer if you get it now! There are secret levels and bosses, many great things to discover on this game.

Music
I'll keep it short and sweet. The Kirby soundtrack is candy-coated, fluffy and wimsically fun. There's none better on the NES.
Story-8.8/10-Great story but I've seen the star rod to many times
Graphics-10/10-Best graphics on the NES
Gameplay-9.5/10-This is were Kirby began....
Music-9.5/10-Its light, its fluffy, its fun music.
Overall-9.8/10-Just a few words....Best graphics and Kirby's start
Get this game?-Yes!!-The best NES graphics and were Kirby began is really all you need to know to get this game. Its fun and enjoyable and has a great lasting appeal.
