Wii's Virtual Console service in Japan will be getting games for the NEO GEO and MSX systems. Games for those systems will be available to Japanese consumers come this Sprin.,There is no word has hit on whether these systems' games are going to be available to Virtual Consoles outside the region.

I'm sure we'll be hearing from NoA about this soon, maybe at GDC it would be unfair for them to get more VC consoles and we didn't not unless those systems never came out here.
I have no idea if they were Japanese only consoles. But if they were then prepare to be disappointed.

There are a lot of games that people want from us that we have been unable to release for whatever reason, and it would be a nice opportunity to deliver these games. There'd be a lot of money involved in releasing a version of a game that has limited or niche appeal. This way, if people want to buy something, they can just buy it.
I think that when we're added to Virtual Console, if people don't know Neo Geo, they're going to see it on Virtual Console, look at it, taste it and in that sense, it's going to be a very good thing for SNK's visibility and the world rediscovering who we are

I really hope we get it too cuz there are so many games I really love from the Neo Geo. The other system I've never played before.
The Neo Geo will probably be coming to us but I think the MSX was only in Japan.
SNK is the company that owed Neo-Geo and it did release in the US but it wasn't popular.

From the neo-geo website's master list, it looks like some of those games are huge (100+ MBs) considering the Wii's small storage capacity. Since it looks like Nintendo is going to be offering this up as a new VC, how long do you think it will be before they offer an external HD? Even if you bought a 1 or 2GB memory card, these games would eat them up pretty quick.
