I use Firefox, and I think I did something with Mc.Afee and now theres a block thingy at the bottom, with an Arrow sorta sticking up, and I have to scroll down more to see everything its annoying, anyone know how to move it?
Some or many people may disagree, but I really do not like McAfee or Norton as a firewall or virus solution because they really try and take over your computer. If you go to the website
http://www.filehippo.com you'll find many free options to secure your computer and they shouldn't give you any hassle with Firefox, because that's what I enjoy using too.
Get Zonealarm Free Firewall
and AVG Free AntiVirus
And for extra measure get Windows Defender.
Then you'll be set for life ^^
Hell, I liked zone alarm so much I actually bought the professional edition
never heard of zonealarm. But can you have 3 virus protection things at the same time?
and My like
File Edit, View, history etc...is grey.
probably not the best idea to have 3 anti virus programs running together because eventually it will drag down your system performance. you might have a screamin' demon computer, but if you don't, I'd stick with 1 and see how that helps.
Umm.. its really bad to have more then 1.. they interfere with each other...
I recommend NOD32 as antivirus. Second best available, but uses the least amount of resources of all antiviruses. = More performance!
so how does this help with my browser, and this damn thing at the bottom!
I don't know about McAfee, but if its anything like Norton, go to Firewall, configure, programs, and make sure that FF is allowed. If its not that.. Check McAfee's site...
i use kaspersky internet security and i never have a problem. i too do not like mcafee and norton
Top two are Bit Defender and Kaspersky. I used to use Bit Defender and then I used Kaspersky and I was happy with both of them. I'm currently using NOD32 though and I have no problems with it either. They all seem to work fine.
