Always wanted to play Fire Emblem on your U.S. GameCube or Wii? Well now you can! On another forum that remains nameless, a user calling himself 'dolqube' came up with a way to play other region coded GameCube games on the Nintendo Wii. The best thing of all is that its free. You won't need to modify your Wii, which would cause you to void your warranty and you don't need to purchase any special CD. Did I mention it was free?! Instead of trying to explain it myself I'll quote the method for any of you out there who would like to give it a try.
The method goes like this: Pop a PAL GameCube disc into the Wii, and head to the 'Disc Channel'. A GameCube logo should be up on the screen. Point the Wii Remote's cursor over the 'Start' option so it's highlighted, and while keeping your hand steady, press the eject button on the Wii. For about one second, the 'Start' option will remain active. In this window of time, hit the A button on the Wii Remote and then swap out your ejected PAL GCN disc with an NTSC (Japanese or USA) disc, which the Wii will accept into the drive.
This allows you to play different region games on your system without having to modify your Wii and void the warranty. Sure you could go out and get the program Freeloader but this is free and as we all know, you can't beat free. I hope this helps many of you who have been yearning to play so many games that were never released in your area. Have fun playing!

This is for playing different region coded GameCube games on the Wii. Not on the GameCube. Some people who don't have the GC might want to try some of the games on their Wii from other regions and some for the first time such as FE.

Yes, thats good for you. But there are people who are interseted in this because the Wii isn't exactly showing off many worthwhile games. So why not import some games which are hard to find?
I can now get Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes from America since PAL versions are so hard to find.
