Today (yesterday if you want to be technical), before going to work I decided to take my laptop with me. Then I realized I probably wouldn't have internet there, so my original plan of playing TF2 had been canceled.

So instead, the hour before going to work I downloaded some C4Ds and Renders (no time to search for brushes) and installed the trial version of CS2.

As it's been forever since I've taken my time with making a sig (I usually don't spend more then a few minutes on a sig as I am easily distracted) so it was like I just opened PS for the first time. Minus the fact that I remembered a few shortcuts (ctrl+T and ctrl+J are my best friends).

My first sig was going along great until I realized the left side was completely bare. I attempted to correct the problem, to no avail.

I am still trying to figure something out here it is in it's current state:

Vroom:

Hopefully it's not a lost cause, but at the time I gave up on it and immediately went to work on a second sig to redeem myself.
(I'll probably bag this one)

I can whole-heartedly say I managed to redeem myself, at least in my eyes. (and I haven't done that before xD)

Here is that sig...

Fading Away:

Hopefully the colours aren't too different then how I see them as I was working on them with a laptop, and depending on my degree of viewing the colours change quite dramatically.

Also, my little brother likes this version of "fading away" better:

Thoughts?

CnC appreciated.

*edit* Looking at it from my regular computer the second one is better, but the contrast and brightness is off, I'll also try to make the text better. Once this is complete, it shall be my masterpiece!
I really like the car, is the window suppose to be an eye? Slightly creepy, but good Smile I like the second fading away as well, I can't wait to see what you do with the Millennium Earl render Smile
Hmm, hope it's ok to still post in here.

I like that last tag you made at the bottom of your Opening Post. Not sure how I truly feel on your "Fading Away" tag. But I prefer the 2nd version over your 1st & 3rd version, though it feels like the background is a bit too much.. Like, I'm not really getting the feel of "fading away" when looking at the overall piece. But, I still like it. Smile
Yeah, posting is encouraged here xD
Even though you're probably not around anymore... thanks for the critique.

Most of you probably don't know this, but I still do some graphical stuff in my (limited) spare time. Most (by that I mean "all") doesn't make it here cause I have a very strict quality control over my stuff.

But for the sake of keeping this place alive, I've decided to post even my crap stuff.
Here's one:

I've been experimenting with simple text sigs, as I really lack the creativity to continue making my regular sigs. As you make have noticed I've always tried new things with my sigs, and I just can't do that anymore.

I think this one would look better without the shadow, and perhaps give it a background to give it that old stiched metal lettering look.
I kind of agree with you on the shadow, maybe tweaked a bit, but the Rawr is awesome.
i need one from Rawr! Nice stuff here! You have progressed a lot!
