Check out the video for a tutorial on how to change the LEDs in your wii's disc slot.
Sorry to bring up an old post but I've removed the video from youtube and added it to revver.com instead. That way people can download it if they choose to, and revver in general seems to be easier to work with. Here's the link:

Welcome and ..... granny news ...... but still welcome, really!

never saw that b4. kinda cool but blue is better and besides i dont really feel like breaking my wii anytime soon.
If I was experianced, i'd buy a black Wii, when it comes out, and make the disc light red, but i'm sure i'd break it.
how many led's are used?
not bothering to watch vid.
2. One each end of the slot. Watch the video and you'll see everything.
If u used two different colored ones you might get a kind of fade effect that might look cool!
It's a neat idea, but I'm not confident enough to take apart my system to change the color of the led lights...the Wii's are still too hard to come by and I wouldn't wanna shell out $249.99 if I did something stupid (which would probably happen)

but that light blue color is so hip right now. haha.
seriously, i've been seeing that color everywhere for the past year or two, from graphic design to fashion... and everything in urban outfitters ha.
I won't be changing my LEDs regardless, wanna keep me warranty.
related/unrelated: Did you hear pomegranates are "out" now? Since when can fruit be out of style? Out of season maybe, but style...?
Fascists.
fruit goes in and out like smells. cucumber is the new melon. all the rage in Europe
i'm disappointed there are only two lights. if there were six you could do a nice little rainbow effect all pretty and like. play the Wii; see the rainbow
